Bus-Tech now offers a Maintenance Plan that includes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week coverage for all current Bus-Tech products. Also, Mainframe Appliance for Storage customers in certain areas may opt for on-site parts replacement with 4 or 24 hour response time depending on location.

MDL

The Mainframe Data Library is the flagship product of the Mainframe VTL family. It is a revolutionary tape-on-disk control system for IBM compatible and Unisys OS 2200 mainframes. The modular design of the MDL offers complete flexibility and allows configurations tailored to your specific needs.

The Mainframe Appliance for Storage (MAS) is a virtual tape controller for IBM and compatible mainframes, which uses open-system storage devices to store and retrieve mainframe tape data sets. The product family includes Mainframe Data Library (MDL) and MAS Entry.

zDASD Controller logo

The zDASD 3990 controller uses open-system storage platforms as mainframe attached DASD. This device can be used in a Linux clustered mainframe environment as a boot device, as a replacement for older DASD technology, or as a key element in your Disaster Recovery or Information Lifecycle Management strategy.
